All Timberland Pro styles meet the Australian and NZ safety standards
- Steel toe: The original safety boot toe material but can be a little heavier than composite and alloy. This is a metal so can conduct electricity, so not usually good for workers in the electrical field or dealing with high voltage. Will set off metal detectors.
