This Terms and Conditions document governs the use of Pat Menzies Shoes online store including shopping and participation in promotions run by Pat Menzies Shoes. You can access this Agreement at any time from the bottom of any page of the site.

Purchasing from patmenziesshoes.co.nz

Patmenziesshoes.co.nz gives customers convenient, easy and secure shopping. Products displayed on the site shopping areas can be purchased using a secure online credit card transaction facility. Customers can be confident that all their details are protected by the latest security mechanisms and are used only for purposes of the transaction fulfillment. You will be given the option to register as a member of patmenziesshoes.co.nz. Your shipping address details will be filed saving you the effort of entering these details each time you purchase. This is optional and purchases can easily be made without having to register.

New Zealand Sales Only:

We only sell and ship products within New Zealand. We cannot make deliveries outside of New Zealand.

Pricing:

All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include GST (15% sales tax). All prices are correct at time of publication however, we reserve the right to alter prices for any reason.

Payment:

Payment can be made by Afterpay, Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Debit Card.

Colours:

Every effort has been made to portray the colours of our products that appear on this website as accurately as possible. However, because the actual colours you see depend on the monitor you are using, we cannot guarantee that the online display of any colour will be completely accurate.

Reseller Policy:

Pat Menzies Shoes reserves the right to cancel any orders that it reasonably believes have been placed by resellers or other parties for the purpose of on-selling. This includes, but is not limited to, bulk purchases or multiple orders placed under different accounts or names that Pat Menzies Shoes deems to be intended for resale. We also reserve the right to remove/disable loyalty points that deemed to have been earnt from transactions including product intended for reselling.

Security:

We use the secure Hosted Payment page solution from DPS to process online orders. Customers can see their cards being authorised and debited in real time, all in an SSL secure environment. The Hosted Payment page enables us to offer customers a safe and speedy online shopping experience. DPS is committed to protecting the security of your data. A variety of security technologies and procedures are used to help protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. When we transmit sensitive information (such as a credit card numbers) over the internet, we protect it using encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

GIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Gift Cards are a convenient way to give the gift of Pat Menzies Shoes. They are redeemable online at patmenziesshoes.co.nz and at the Pat Menzies Shoes Queen Street store (Canterbury Arcade, 174 Queen St, Auckland 1010).

You can purchase Gift Cards instore, or online here. You can specify any value and even add a personal message to the card carrier.

View your balance:

To view your Gift Card balance, go to patmenziesshoes.co.nz, add an item to your cart and follow the checkout process. At the checkout page, you will see a Pat Menzies Shoes Gift Card section. Enter your barcode number and click ‘Check Status and Balance’ to view your card balance. Alternatively, our Pat Menzies Shoes store can check your balance, either in person or over the phone.

Returns:

You cannot return or cancel your Pat Menzies Shoes Gift Card after it is dispatched. Purchasers who wish to cancel or re-direct a Gift Card purchase prior to its delivery to a recipient should contact us immediately via phone call.

Lost or stolen gift cards:

Gift Cards cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift Cards have cash value and should be safeguarded accordingly.

Limitations:

You may not use a Gift Card to purchase other Gift Cards. Pat Menzies Shoes Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or returned for a refund. Unused balances are not refundable or transferable. Pat Menzies Shoes is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. Card value expires 36 months after date of issue.

Loyalty dollars:

Pat Menzies Shoes Loyalty Dollars are not earned on the purchase of a Gift Card. Loyalty Dollars can be earned when using a Gift Card as payment for full-priced items.

Delivery information and requirements for gift card purchasers:

Gift Cards may not be shipped to international addresses. All orders of Gift Cards are subject to a process that compares purchaser information provided on the website with information about the purchaser provided by the purchaser's financial institution. If there is a discrepancy, your Gift Card order may be delayed until it can be corrected. If you have concerns about your order, please contact Customer Support. Please refer to your order number, or be ready to supply your email address.

We are not responsible for Gift Cards that are undeliverable or not received due to your failure to enter an accurate physical address or email address for the recipient. Please check to make sure the address of the recipient is correct and contact us if you suspect the recipient did not receive his/her Gift Card.

Acceptance of terms and conditions:

Purchasing a Gift Card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions, which may change at any time.


PAT'S POINTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Membership and accounts

  1. Pat's Points is the Pat Menzies Shoes loyalty programme. Membership is free and available online and in store.
  2. A first name, last name, valid unique email address and password are required to create an account. A mobile phone number is optional.
  3. Only points held in one account may be used in a transaction. Points from different accounts cannot be combined.

2. Earning and redeeming points

  1. Members earn 1 point for every full NZ$10 of eligible spending online and at standard Pat Menzies stores, or 1 point for every full NZ$20 at the Onehunga Outlet. Points are rounded down to whole points and calculated after discounts and redeemed Pat's Points.
  2. Full-priced, sale, clearance and shoe care products are eligible. Gift card purchases, shipping charges and orders using staff discount codes are excluded. Eligible products bought using a gift card earn points.
  3. One point is worth NZ$1 when redeemed. Points may be used online or in store on full-priced, sale and clearance products, with no minimum redemption amount. They cannot be used for gift cards or combined with another discount, promotional or reward code.
  4. Points may take up to 24 hours to become redeemable.
  5. Points have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or assigned.

3. Points expiry

  1. A member's Pat's Points balance expires only after 24 consecutive months without customer activity on the account.
  2. Any new customer activity restarts the 24-month expiry period for the balance.

4. Returns, corrections and missing points

  1. Points earned from returned or refunded products will be deducted. Points redeemed against a returned order will be restored where applicable.
  2. Guest purchases may be credited if the customer creates an account using the order email address and contacts Customer Support within 30 days of the order date.
  3. Pat Menzies may correct a member's balance where points have been issued, deducted or redeemed in error.

5. Member rewards

  1. Reviews: Members earn 5 points for each eligible review submitted through an official review-request email, up to three reviews and 15 points per order.
  2. Referrals: A referred new customer receives NZ$10 off their first purchase of NZ$100 or more, online or in store. The code does not expire. The referring member earns 10 points after the qualifying purchase is completed.
  3. Birthday reward: Members who add their birthday through the Pat's Points page receive a NZ$20 code. It requires a NZ$50 spend, expires one month after issue and cannot be combined with another offer. If the birthday falls within 30 days of being added, the reward is delayed until 30 days after entry.
  4. Welcome discount: New customers who create an account and subscribe to marketing and loyalty emails receive a one-use NZ$20 code. It expires one month after account creation, requires a NZ$50 spend and applies to full-priced products online or in store. Gift cards and shipping are excluded, and the code cannot be combined with another offer.
  5. Eligible purchases made with referral, birthday or welcome codes earn points on the amount paid after the discount.
  6. Additional promotions are subject to any conditions stated with the applicable offer.

6. Programme administration

  1. Pat Menzies may exclude specified products, quantities or promotions from earning or redemption where disclosed in the applicable offer conditions.
  2. Pat Menzies may cancel or reject points or rewards associated with fraud, misuse, ineligible activity or a breach of these terms.
  3. Pat Menzies may withdraw, suspend, cancel or vary Pat's Points, its rewards or these terms, subject to applicable law.

PAT'S POINTS SIGN UP DISCOUNT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • $20 Sign Up Discount Code expires 1 month after creating an Account online and signing up to receive marketing & loyalty emails via Patmenziesshoes.co.nz and must be added at the Patmenziesshoes.co.nz checkout prior purchase, in the Discount Code field or entered by a retail staff member in store.
  • Minimum spend $50. Valid on full priced items only, excludes gift cards, shoe care products and shipping costs (if applicable).
  • $20 Sign Up Discount Code is applied when the code is entered or claimed at Patmenziesshoes.co.nz at checkout or instore.
  • Discount code may only be used once per customer.
  • Patmenziesshoes.co.nz reserves the right to amend or cancel discount/promotional codes without notice.
  • Patmenziesshoes.co.nz reserves the right to update their Terms and Conditions without notice.
