Manufactured at the original Dr. Martens Cobbs Lane factory, The Adrian Tassel Loafer first hit the streets in 1980. And with a double tassel and kiltie fringe, the traditional unisex slip-on loafer has been a classic since day one. This loafer is a Goodyear Welted slip-on shoe, meaning the upper and sole are sewn together in a heat-sealed z-welt stitch. It sits on the iconic AirWair™ sole, which is oil and fat resistant, with good abrasion and slip resistance. Finally, it's made with Dr Marten's famously durable Smooth leather, a lightly textured, highly durable material with a soft sheen.

"After oogling these shoes for years I finally purchased recently in the sale. Arrived within a couple of days. I’m a classic size EU 39 and have 5 Docs already. They were waiting for me after a trip. Unboxed Late at night I tried to fit but shoes wouldn’t go on. Thought, oh no will have to return. Put aside till morning, when I used a shoe horn. Feet slipped in and spent a fairly comfortable day walking in. I can tell these will get soft real quick. They’ll soon be comfortable as! I wouldn’t recommend downsizing as others suggest, but I’ve got good wide kiwi feet. They look amazing!"
